Pishkun A.C. has developed a new Dynamic & Parametric-based par system for 3D Archery Courses. The system is based on twelve fundamental parameters that typically play a major role in the success of each shot taken by an archer. Furthermore, each parameter and the subsequent findings have been given weighted values that count towards creating a par for each Target/Lane.
NOTE – Each Target/Lane is given a par value based on Twelve Parameters broken into two primary categories as follows:
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRAINTS
- PRESENTATION
- DISTANCE (1): 10-yard increments from “0 to 20 yrds” up to “120 yrds or more”
- SLOPE (2): “0 to 25%”, “25% to 40%”, OR “40% or more”
- SIZE (3): “Big Game”, Exotics”, “Scaled”, “Fowl”, OR “Varmint”
- STANCE
- POSITION (4): “Standing”, “Kneeling”, “Seated”, “Blind”, OR “Canoe”
- SLOPE (5): “Level” OR “Uneven”
- CROSS SLOPE (6): “Level” OR “Uneven”
- APPROACH
- DISTANCE (7): “0 to 100 yrds” OR “100 yrds or more”
- ELEVATION (8): “0 to 25 ft”, “25 to 50 ft”, “50 to 100 ft”, OR “100 ft or more”
MENTAL MANAGEMENT
- SHOOTING LANE
- CROSSWIND (9): “Blocked”, “Partially Screened”, OR “Open”
- SITE WINDOW (10): “Open”, “Screened”, OR “Below Horiz.” OR “In Motion”
- WIDTH (11): “Open” OR “Narrow”
- BACKSTOP (12): “Field”, “Timbers”, “Snow”, “Water”, “Rock”, “Horizon”, OR “Sky”
*NOTE – The Pishkun A.C. 3D Archery Course PAR system is not intended to be predictive of a specific individual’s actual score. The parametric-based system is used to calculate the score an average HUNTER DIVISION archer would be expected to achieve under ordinary weather conditions while taking into consideration twelve common parameters associated with both environmental constraints and mental management.
